Meet our new council members
Nicolas Pham<https://www.eaae.eu/eaae-council/nicolas-pham> (France) - Associate Professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Versailles<https://www.versailles.archi.fr/fr>. Before obtaining tenure at ENSA Versailles, he taught as a lecturer at EPFL, from 2000 to 2010 as an assistant professor at TU Delft, from 2010 to 2015 at ENSA Paris-Belleville, and, in parallel since 2005, as head of the Architecture program at HEPIA in Geneva. He has mainly worked in the Netherlands, notably on the masterplan for Leidse Rijn (Utrecht), as well as on a national strategic study, the Deltametropolis. He has worked in various architectural firms, including Herman Hertzberger’s office in Amsterdam and Alan Colquhoun’s in London.
Māra Liepa-Zemeša<https://www.eaae.eu/eaae-council/m%C4%81ra-liepa-zeme%C5%A1a> (Latvia) - Director of the Institute of Architecture and Design at Riga Technical University (RTU)<https://www.rtu.lv/en>. Before leading the Institute, she worked at the Riga City Council’s City Development Department, heading the Territorial Planning Division and coordinating major urban planning projects, including the Riga Territorial Plan. She also served as Vice-Chair of the Urban Planning Commission of the Union of Baltic Cities and gained international experience through research in the USA, exchange programs in Germany and Austria, civil servant training in Taiwan, work at a Dutch architectural office, and volunteer activities in Germany.

Call for participants for the Pedagogy Awards 2026

The Awards are open to any staff who are engaged in teaching on an architecture programme in Europe and whose school has membership of EAAE or associated membership of the EAAE in the current academic year.
